The film does have some graphic violence and scenes of brutality, and plenty of tense moments Liam Neeson plays a Private Investigator hired by a drug kingpin to find his wife's kidnappers and murderers.

So, does this film offer anything different from the many others done before. Well, not really. It is very cliched, even throwing in a black street kid that somehow finds an unnecessary and annoying pathway into the film.

Box ticked. On the plus side, Neeson does what he does best, loner, checkered past, rarely smiles, kicks ass etc. May be worth catching when it shows on tv.

Worth watching. Very well made film, but lacked a bit in directing. Drags a bit, then gets going, then drags again very slowly All very well acted, but not the best paced thriller you'll see.

If I had to sum it up in one sentence, this is an art film version of Taken - beautifully shot, quite arty in some places which kind of grates with the subject matter and I wouldn't pay for it but as it's on Prime and free, go for it - it's worth watching.
