Another thing I really like about Shyamalan is his ability to make us feel emotion even for the bad guys. For example James McAvoys character while technically not the good guy in this you still feel sorry for him despite his sinister intentions.
Shyamalan is a director who deserves way more credit and support than he gets, he's not afraid to take risks and when he's good, he's really good.
Silly one star reviews of this movie should quite simply be ignored, I can only assume these people have 5 second attention spans and go into a movie thinking its going to be constant action scenes which just isn't the case with M Nights films.
