There are some sexual references in the film but no over sex scenes so judge for yourself if the kids can watch it.
I bought the film, waiting for it to be available for sale for a few years. It's a fun and kooky little mash-up, verging on parody of so many romantic comedies.
It's sexy, stylish, silly, and happy. Renee and Ian play off one another perfectly, as to Sarah and David are equally well paired.
This is one of those happy little flicks that I watch when I watch to cheer myself up, it's right up there with Upside Down and What Women Want.

While I can't remember why I bought that particular version at the time, I do remember that it was marked as such at the time and I ordered it knowing I was buying a foreign region product.
There seem to be various Region 1 versions offered, so make sure you look at the product description carefully before placing your order to avoid disappointment.
My four star rating is strictly for the film and the quality of the DVD which is perfectly good if you have a compatible device to play it , and not influenced by the Region code.
I saw it, found it hilarious, over the top, funny, witty, with good acting and great sets. My best friend turned it off after 20 minutes as she couldn't take it.
In the end it all depends on what you expect a movie to be. If you want a somewhat serious rom-com with a believable enough story and characters that might perhaps maybe really exist with utterly romantic moments If you, however, love Austin Powers and bright colours, if you find caricatures funny and can take twists and turns, then this might be the film for you.
As for me, it's one of my favorite films of all time. When I'm under the weather or a little sad I put it on. It's so far away from reality and yet so funny, colourfull and witty, that it cheers me up every time I put it on.
I love the sets and clothing! For me it's a 5 star. The office scene with Ewan talking about his socks staying up has me in stitches every single time!

Only criticism I have is when it arrived the disk was not in the case right, now I no it was brought used and the post may have been the reason it had come out but surly there is a way you can stick the dvd into the case without doing any damage to the disk its self just so when it arrives its not fallen out.
